Others, like the new fig tree and my live oak, act like they’re holding on to their winter covers until they can’t stand where they were anymore…as though the new future is frightening to them.
Our clients in hospice fit into both of those categories. Some see it as an adventure; some don’t want to let go. Both, when they bask in the radiant sun of the future, will welcome the new day like a field of bluebonnets who had slept since last spring.
